Meet Our Administrators
Blake Ray – Executive Director
Blake Ray became the executive director of Renaissance Marquis in April 2017.
He joined Legacy Senior Living, management company of Renaissance Marquis, as the special projects coordinator in 2014.
In 2015, Blake began an administrator in training program at Renaissance Marquis. The Administrator in Training Program takes him through each department of the facility as he learns the inner workings of the senior living industry.
Blake graduated from Lee University in 2014 with a double major in accounting and psychology.
A native of Cleveland, Blake and his wife, Kelli, live in Cartersville, GA, where they attend Cross Point City Church.
Renita Carnes – Senior Executive Director and Team Member Training Coordinator
Renita Carnes, Senior Executive Director, has returned to Renaissance Marquis. Renita began her career with Legacy Senior Services in 2005 as the director of resident care of Renaissance Marquis. Renita went on to serve as Renaissance Marquis’ marketing director, assistant administrator and executive administrator from 2012 to 2015.
Renita transitioned to the corporate office, first as Director of Sales and Marketing and then to Area Director of Operations for South Georgia. April 2016, Renita returned to Renaissance Marquis as the Executive Director.
She is also currently employed through Renaissance Marquis’ management company, Legacy Senior Living as the Area Director of Operations for North Georgia and Tennessee as well as the Team Member Training Coordinator.
Renita has over 20 years’ experience in assisted living and memory care settings. She earned her nursing degree from Erwin Vocational School in Tampa, FL. She and her husband, Tony, are members of the Victory Baptist Church in Cedartown, GA.
