Rome, Ga. (April 2025) — Renaissance Marquis, a premier retirement community, is excited to announce the promotion of long-standing employee, Britni Bagwell, to Resident Services Director. Bagwell has been with Renaissance Marquis for over 12 years, starting her career off as a caregiver while she was still a senior in high school. Three years later, Bagwell was promoted to Memory Care Director where she oversaw Renaissance Marquis’ state-of-the-art memory care community, The Harbor. Bagwell served as the Memory Care Coordinator until her promotion to Resident Service Director in December 2024.

Bagwell was born in Germany while her father was in the service, but was raised in Rome, Georgia. She attended Model High School and obtained her LPN from Georgia Northwestern Technical College. After being hired at Renaissance Marquis, Bagwell immediately found her calling working with seniors. “I live to see the resident’s smile. It is so rewarding to have the opportunity to advocate for residents that are no longer able to do so themselves,” Bagwell said.

“It has been wonderful to watch Britni grow into her career at Renaissance Marquis. She has as much enthusiasm and joy as when she first started, and it has always been clear her passion for serving others. We were excited to offer her this well-earned promotion,” states Catie Mason, Executive Director of Renaissance Marquis.

Bagwell and her husband of 13 years, Trey, have three boys, Elvis, Easton and Elias, as well as a dog, Maddie. She loves being outside with her children playing and swimming. She also enjoys singing with her church choir and listening to country music.
